The dealer now proceeds to “burn” one last card face down on the table, and deals the final river card to the board. Always pay attention to whatever cards are lying face up on the table. It is important not only to pay attention the hand dealt, mais also what is happening at the tables. This is especially important in games such as Texas Hold’em, Seven Card Stud, and Seven Card Stud.
You will also be able to gauge the strength of your opponent’s hand by how they choose to wager or raise, looking back at the previous two betting rounds. After the river is dealt, the last decision would be made. If you believe you have a winning hand by combining your hole cards and the board, you can bet/raise. However, if you feel that your opponents’ hands are stronger, you must fold.
